Melatonin and side effect

It is a hormone that regulates the biological clock of our body. The melatonin is synthesized in the pineal gland at a pace cyclical and then is distributed by the blood in small proportions. The melatonin informs the body of:

The melatonin decreases with age. Older people do not have such high levels of melatonin as the youth (young people come to take levels 12 times higher). During the day older people do not have large increases in melatonin.
