I have been working on adopting a baby for nearly two years now, and it looks as if the wait is going to be over soon. I got the news that I had a preliminary match for a placement, and so now I am moving into high gear to get ready. I had not started a baby registry or purchased anything until now because I had worried I would jinx myself and I had no way of knowing when the baby would come. Now that I know it is likely I will be traveling within a few weeks for the adoption, I have my work cut out for me. I jumped onto my clearwireless 4g to get started on a couple of online baby registries. I knew from talking with friends that it was a good idea to give people a couple of options since not everybody likes the same store or is comfortable shopping online. I was glad I could get so much of it done via the Internet, rather than racing around in the car. I was able to keep the phone by my side and frequently check my email for updates from my adoption agency, while getting preparations crossed off the list as well. I was glad to be able to keep so busy during such a nervous time.
